Cancellation policy.

This Cancellation Policy explains how plot bookings and investments on the Paylap Invest platform, operated by PAYLAP REAL ESTATE PVT LTD, can be cancelled. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

When you create a booking it is held in a pending payment state for a limited time (24 hours). During this window:

• You may choose not to pay — the booking simply expires and the plot is released.
• You can request a cancellation by contacting support; no charge applies as no payment was completed.

Pending bookings that are not paid within the hold window are cancelled automatically.

Once your payment is confirmed and the investment becomes active, the principal is committed for the agreed tenure. As a result:

• Active investments cannot be cancelled on demand — the principal is returned with interest at maturity.
• Any early-exit option, where offered, is governed by the Terms & Conditions and may be subject to conditions or deductions.
• If a payment was made in error or a transaction failed, see our Refund Policy for eligible refund cases.

We may cancel a booking or investment in cases including:

• Payment could not be verified or was rejected on review.
• KYC verification is incomplete, failed, or found to be invalid.
• Suspected fraud, misuse, or breach of our Terms & Conditions.
• The plot becoming unavailable for reasons outside our control.

Where we cancel a booking and a valid payment was received, any eligible amount is refunded as described in the Refund Policy.
