How do I create a Paylap account?
You only need an email or phone number to start. KYC happens later, before you can book a plot.
How does KYC work?
Aadhaar e-KYC via DigiLocker, then PAN verification. Typically done in under five minutes.
What documents do I need to invest?
Aadhaar, PAN, and a verified bank account. That's it for amounts under our enhanced-diligence threshold.
How do I make my first investment?
Pick a plot, choose a plan, sign the agreement digitally, and pay through the gateway.
Investments & payouts
Bookings, agreements, interest accrual, and what happens at maturity.
How does interest accrue on my investment?
Daily, on the principal, at the rate fixed by your agreement. Compounded at maturity.
How does the maturity payout work?
Disbursed to your verified bank account within 7 working days of the maturity date. Usually sooner.
Where can I download my investment agreement?
From your dashboard → Investments → individual investment. A signed PDF is also emailed at booking.
Can I exit before the tenure ends?
Yes, via a structured transfer process. Takes 30–90 days and incurs a small administrative fee.
How are my returns taxed?
Interest at slab; if a plot transaction occurs, long-term gains get indexation. See a CA for your case.
Payments & withdrawals
UPI, bank transfer, the payment gateway, and how to move money out at maturity.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, net banking, debit card and select credit cards through Cashfree. Manual bank transfer for larger tickets.
My payment failed but the amount was debited
Usually auto-reverses within 2–7 working days. If not, we'll help you raise a chargeback.
How do I change my payout bank account?
From your profile, with a one-time password and a fresh penny-drop verification.

I forgot my password
Use the "forgot password" link on the login page. Reset email is valid for 30 minutes.
Two-factor authentication
On by default for any sensitive action like payout-account changes. Optional for routine login.
How do I update my profile details?
Most fields from your profile page. Name and PAN need a KYC re-verification.
Troubleshooting

My KYC is stuck — what now?
Usually a name mismatch between Aadhaar and PAN. The fix is to align the spellings.
My dashboard isn't showing my latest investment
Usually a caching delay. Hard refresh, then try logging out and back in.
I haven't received my agreement email
Check spam first. If still missing after 10 minutes, request a resend from the investment dashboard.
I can't log in even with the right password
Likely a rate-limit. Wait 15 minutes, then try again. Or use the password-reset link.
