Overview
This Refund Policy explains how PAYLAP REAL ESTATE PVT LTD (operating the Paylap Investplatform, "we", "us") handles refunds for payments made towards plot bookings and investments. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy.
Paylap Invest is a real-estate investment platform. When you book a plot you pay a booking amount which, once confirmed, becomes a fixed-tenure investment that accrues interest and is paid out at maturity. Because of this, refunds apply to specific situations rather than to completed, active investments.

When you are eligible for a refund
You are eligible for a refund in the following cases:
- Failed or incomplete payment: money was debited from your account but the booking was not confirmed on the platform.
- Duplicate / double charge: you were charged more than once for the same booking.
- Booking not confirmed: the plot became unavailable or the booking could not be allotted after payment.
- Payment rejected on verification: a manually submitted payment was reviewed and rejected — any amount actually received is returned.
- Cancellation before activation: a booking cancelled while still pending, in line with our Cancellation Policy.

When refunds do not apply
Refunds are generally not available in these cases:
- Active investments: once a booking is confirmed and the investment is active, the principal is locked for the agreed tenure and is returned with interest at maturity — not as a refund.
- Requests arising from a change of mind after the investment has been activated.
- Transactions found to be fraudulent or in breach of our Terms & Conditions.
Early exit from an active investment, where permitted, is governed by our Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions.

How to request a refund

Please include your registered name, booking code, transaction/order ID, date of payment, and the reason for the request. We may ask for additional information to verify the transaction.
Section 05
Refund method and timeline
- Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the transaction (UPI, card, net banking or bank account).
- Refunds are processed through our payment partner, Cashfree Payments, once verified and approved.
- Approved refunds are initiated within 2–3 working days; the amount typically reflects in your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- We do not charge a processing fee on eligible refunds. Any third-party charges levied by banks are outside our control.
Section 06
Maturity payouts are not refunds
The return of your principal along with accrued interest at the end of your investment tenure is a maturity payout, not a refund. Maturity payouts are credited to your platform wallet and can be withdrawn to your verified bank account as described in the Terms & Conditions.
