How do I change my payout bank account?

Changing the bank account that receives maturity payouts is a sensitive action, so the flow is deliberately a bit deliberate.

  1. Go to Profile → Bank account in your dashboard.
  2. Enter the new account number, IFSC and account-holder name.
  3. Confirm with a one-time password sent to your registered phone number.
  4. We send a small amount (less than ₹2) to the new account. You confirm the exact amount received from your bank statement.
  5. The account is updated, and applies to any future maturities.

If you have an active investment maturing soon and you change the bank account in the last 5 days before maturity, we'll honour the payout to your original bank account for that one investment and switch to the new account from the next maturity. This is intentional — it prevents a class of social-engineering attacks where someone changes the bank account moments before a payout.
